BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE
Something as simple as a pencil can be the key to a child’s educational success.
For many homeless and under-served children, their education is worth their weight in gold.
It is an opportunity for them to soar above their current station in life to reach heights which may otherwise have been unimaginable.
The Circle of Love’s back-to-school supplies drive kicked off in 2013. That first year, the organization was able to collect supplies from backpacks and pencils to uniforms and calculators for 16 children of varying ages.
Today, the Circle of Love’s annual school supply drive has helped sponsor dozens of children, including four college-bound young women who were able to take the next step in their journeys for higher education with the help of the Circle of Love and its volunteers.
Our goal is met if we can provide support for even a single child’s educational future. If we can set just one child up for success, we have succeeded in our efforts.
It takes an average of $125 per child to provide the necessary school supplies each year.
